Certification program
A transparent, pharmacist-led review for consumer health products
The published program sets out evidence requirements and structured evaluation criteria. Certification is product-specific, conditional on approval, and distinct from commercial services.
What we evaluate
The published review framework covers six dimensions. Actual requirements depend on the submitted product and its evidence.
Product formulation
Active ingredients, concentrations, excipients, and dosage form.
Clinical evidence
Published studies supporting the intended use and efficacy claims.
Safety profile
Known interactions, contraindications, and adverse-event reporting.
Ingredient quality
Sourcing, purity, and third-party ingredient verification.
Manufacturing
GMP compliance, facility standards, and quality control processes.
Labeling
Accuracy of claims, warnings, and consumer-facing directions.
Evaluation scoring framework
Each dimension carries a defined weight. The program policy calls for aggregated scores and decision review under the governance framework.
Weights total 100%. A minimum threshold in each dimension is required for certification; a high overall score cannot compensate for a critical safety or evidence gap.
How products are reviewed
01
Application
Brand submits product dossier, ingredient sourcing, and supporting evidence.
02
Preliminary review
The process begins with a documentation-completeness check and identification of evidence gaps.
03
Pharmacist panel review
The program calls for pharmacist scoring against the published framework.
04
Certification decision
The published governance policy assigns decision review to the Certification Committee.
05
Seal issuance
Approved products receive the seal with a 12-month validity period.
Validity
12-month certification
Certification is valid for twelve months from the date of issuance. During this period, brands may display the seal on qualifying product packaging and marketing materials in accordance with the usage guidelines.
Renewal
Annual recertification
Products must be resubmitted annually to maintain certification. Renewal reviews reflect any updates to formulation, labeling, evidence base, or applicable standards.
